It's MPC's policy to manage all of its activities to meet or exceed all environmental laws and regulations and to meet or exceed all environmental requirements included in our permits and contracts with our Customers.
In keeping with our Continuous Improvement Culture, we will establish measurable environmental objectives and targets that are part of our strategic plan and continually monitor and improve environmental performance in existing and new operations; we will regularly audit and review environmental performance; and strive for cost-effective environmental management by improving operations, and by promoting synergy between each plant.
We will take into account the impact of the environmental aspects of our different operations; and ensure that each plant develops and implements plans and procedures to prevent pollution.
We will provide training and education to our employees to ensure that they can work safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally sound manner; and Communicate openly with employees, customers, our neighbors, government, and regulatory agencies concerning MPC's environmental performance and improvement plans.
